BREAKING: Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon Announce Plans to Co-Host Brand New Podcast
The show must go on.
New York City, New York — Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and former CNN anchor Don Lemon have announced that they are starting a podcast together after both media personalities parted ways with their respective networks.
Both men are prominent figures in their industries and they believe that by combining their star power, they can create something more powerful. The two journalists are still working on a name, but insiders say they have floated several ideas.
A source close to Carlson told The Smattering that he prefers calling the podcast “I’m Just Asking Questions” or “Look Out: Those Commies are Coming to Kill You All.”
For his part, Lemon is more partial to possible names like “If You’re Listening to This, You’re Probably Racist” or “Let’s Talk About Me.”
Both have expressed a modicum of interest in going with “Talking Heads United.”
Carlson and Lemon believe they can create a production that provides the type of content people want. “Our audience is drawn to superficial debates that typically devolve into sound bites and partisan talking points,” said Andy Donovan, who will be producing the show. “The problem is that you only get this in three-minute long segments. Imagine being able to tune in to an entire hour of name-calling, false accusations, and vitriol. This is a slam dunk!”
Those familiar with this development told The Smattering that the format will consist of Carlson floating various conspiracy theories while explaning how the left is conspiring to eliminate the white population. Lemon will spend most of the time calling Carlson and everyone else who disagrees with him racist and highlighting how the right is seeking to turn America into a real-life version of the Handmaid’s Tale-style theocracy while bringing back chattel slavery.
“With this new project, we will have the best of both worlds: Conspiracy theories and mindless race baiting. There’s something for everyone!” Donovan said.
The podcast, which is expected to launch in late May, will also include guests like former Fox News host Dan Bongino, former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, and other former cable network personalities.
When reached for comment, President Joe Biden indicated that he thinks it’s a great idea. “I think it’s wonderful that these young men are striking out on their own. Y’know, I have been thinking about starting a podcast. But I can never find my Airpods. I know they’re around here somewhere…” he said as he began to start snoring.
I’d pay to watch Alex Jones and Keith Olbermann host a show where they dress in gladiator costumes and swing those big iron balls with spikes at each other while engaging in political arguments and conspiracy theories. Sure, Olbermann has flights of lunacy and might get taken out early on, but his second could be Brian Stelter for the kill shot.
I will believe this as soon as I see it. Not before.
