Georgia Democrats Finally Admit They Think 'People of Color' are Complete and Utter Imbeciles
Atlanta, Georgia — Democrats have had it with pretending they respect black and brown Americans, and they aren’t going to do it anymore. The Georgia Democratic Party’s leadership recently circulated a memo informing officials of the new policy, which dictates that members are no longer to act as if they have high opinions of people of color.
The memo, which was obtained by The Smattering, instructs its officials and representatives to refrain from using complimentary language when describing blacks and Latinos. Officials are discouraged from showing any level of “respect, empathy, or admiration to communities of color.”
“I mean, they’ve been voting for us in huge numbers for decades, and we’ve done little to deserve it. How smart can these people really be?” said a Democratic campaign official.
The move comes after failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms argued that black men were veering away from the Democratic Party because they are more susceptible to being taken in by “misinformation.”
A member of the party’s leadership in the Peach State said he welcomed the new policy. “Pretending we like these people has become so exhausting.,” she said. “I mean, they’re going to vote for us anyway, so why should we bother to put on airs?”
She was particularly critical of Latino Americans, arguing that they have not shown enough gratitude to progressives for all they have done for the community.
“We came up with the term ‘LatinX’ so they could have a new, less sexist label, and they don’t even like it,” she complained. “How dense can these people be?”
An Atlanta-based progressive activist lauded the new policy, arguing that honesty is the best policy.
“There’s a reason why we say traits like ‘hard work,’ ‘objectivity,’ and ‘progress’ are concepts associated with whiteness,” he explained. “Black and brown people want no part of any of these things.”
He added: “These people aren’t even capable of obtaining a voter ID. Why should we take them seriously?”
A Democratic staffer told The Smattering they are not worried about a backlash from communities of color despite losing significant percentages of black and Latino votes.
“Seriously. If they feel a certain type of way about it, we will just say it’s all misinformation,” he said. “These morons won’t get it.”
